Cosmetic Team Leader/Ceramist:
UVDL is seeking a passionate, experienced Cosmetic Ceramist to work in Lindon, Utah (30 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City). He/she must have a minimum of five years’ experience fabricating smile design restorations and large complex restorations using a variety of dental ceramics, including: Ivoclar e.max, GC LiSi, Noritake CZR zirconia ceramic or GC Initial ZR, etc. The candidate must be able to layer using multiple effect powders, including opals, mamelons, dentins, enamels, translucents, transparents and gingival ceramics; he/she must also stain and glaze, as well as manual polish their own restorations. The candidate will understand functional occlusion, advanced smile design principles and he/she must be able to lead a team of cosmetic waxers in designing complex full arch and full-mouth reconstructions. He/she must be able to communicate effectively with his/her clients to ensure accuracy of the Rx and all information contained therein; experience working with various stick bites, kois facebows, intra-oral photographs, relieving tissue around margins of master un-sectioned models and finishing margins under a 10-20X microscope. He/She must be able to work unsupervised, follow a daily schedule, read both print and cursive writing, and be able to reply to emails, texts and phone calls in an educated and polite manner. The candidate must have expertise in the fabrication of high-end cosmetic restorations requiring a high attention to detail, and have experience in fabricating all-ceramic crowns, veneers, implants and bridges.
Cosmetic Waxer:
UVDL is seeking an experienced Cosmetic Waxer to join our team in Lindon, Utah (30 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City). The candidate must have 3-5 years’ experience waxing full-contour cosmetic restorations and diagnostic units. The candidate will understand all principles of smile design reconstruction, functional occlusion and large, complex reconstruction. He/she will be required to wax 12-20 full contour units per day on the highest level, paying close attention to all details contained in the Rx and doctor’s preferences. He/she must be able to take constructive criticism and instruction, be willing to make the necessary changes per the cosmetic team leader’s direction, as well as be a self-starter and able to work independently under the direct supervision of the Cosmetic Waxer/Team Leader. CAD Design Technician
UVDL is seeking an experienced CAD Design Technician in Lindon, Utah (30 miles south of Salt Lake City). The candidate must be knowledgeable in digital smile design in 3 Shape and/or Exocad. Requirements include a minimum of three to five years dental Cad experience in designing large smile designs of 8-14 units, as well as full mouth design. He/she must be able to design anterior and posterior individual crowns, bridges, veneers and implants with special attention to tooth form and individuality. Hybrid bridge design, as well as copymill design, and completing split file designs for implants with individual crown/bridge preps is a bonus. The candidate must be proficient in digital full mouth diagnostic wax-up design as well. He/she must have the ability to convert shell temp designs and printed models, and must have comprehension of functional occlusal philosophies such as: Dawson, Kois, Spear, etc. He/she must be capable of reviewing and following prescriptions and all supporting documentation and evaluate scans to ensure accuracy and quality.
